It is free to use the wireless internet during your stay.
Where can I store ski equipment during my stay?
You can conveniently store your ski and snowboard equipment in the Ski House at the main entrance. In the Ski House, you will find lockable ski lockers with space for skis/snowboard, poles, boots, and a helmet.
Information about the code/access to the lockers will be provided at the reception upon arrival.
It is not allowed to bring ski equipment (skis, snowboard, and poles) into the apartments. However, ski skins, helmets, and boots can be brought into the rooms if desired.

Please run the dishwasher.
Thank you for running the dishwasher with dirty cups before you leave. Dishwashing tablets can be found in the kitchen.

Thank you for emptying the refrigerator before you leave. Please follow the recycling guidelines for anything that needs to be disposed of.
Used towels.
Thank you for placing used towels on the bathroom floor.
Waste sorting.
Please follow the waste sorting instructions provided inside the cabinet. Leave the waste in the containers when checking out. The cleaning staff will take care of it.
Breakfast during your stay.
You can pre-order a breakfast package along with your room reservation online or at the reception upon arrival. The package must be ordered no later than midnight the day before and can be enjoyed in your apartment. Please specify any allergies when ordering. Basecamp Narvik does not have a traditional breakfast buffet.
The breakfast package can be picked up at the reception between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM on weekdays, and between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM on weekends/holidays.
The breakfast package costs NOK 185 per person and includes the following: Rolls, cheese, salami, ham, jam, chocolate spread, one piece of fruit, sliced vegetables, butter, and juice, along with 1 tea bag and 1 portion of instant coffee to be mixed with water. Allergens: Milk, egg, gluten, nuts, and peanuts, but note that allergens may vary depending on the products. A list of current allergens is included with the breakfast package.
You can also buy breakfast items yourself at one of the grocery stores or bakeries nearby and prepare your breakfast in the apartment. All rooms/apartments have kitchen facilities and a dining table. See more information about the kitchen equipment available in the apartments.
Tip: In the reception, you can purchase freshly ground French press coffee from Senja Roasters (approximately 1.5 servings of brewed coffee).
Will the rooms be cleaned daily?
Every other day, the trash is emptied, towels are changed, and the beds are made.
Linen is changed every 4th day.
Extra cleaning
Extra cleaning fee of 2000,- will be charged to the customer if the room requires extra cleaning.
Expected cleaning is: general cleaning where the waste is sorted and dishwasher is started.
Where can I buy a lift pass during my stay?
Purchase your lift pass easily online, at the Ski Shop during opening hours, or at the ticket kiosk at the lower gondola station.
How can I book a ski instructor during my stay?

Dishwasher
Run the dishwasher with dirty cups before checkout, and possibly several times during your stay if you are staying for an extended period. Dishwashing tablets can be found in the kitchen drawer.

The temperature in the apartment is primarily controlled by the hydronic heating system and can be manually adjusted to some extent by using the panel on the wall near the entrance door.
Waste Sorting
In Basecamp, we prioritize environmental sustainability, and we appreciate your efforts in waste sorting during your stay. We sort between food waste, general waste, cardboard/paper, and glass/metal. Additionally, we kindly ask that you separate recyclable containers for the deposit. Please place the recyclables on the kitchen counter upon checkout.

In case of loss of the remote control, a fee of 500 NOK will be imposed.
Parking at Basecamp Narvik
Guests of Basecamp can use the parking facility at Narvikfjellet, located 50 meters from the main entrance, below the hotel. Parking is subject to a fee. For loading and unloading, the turning area at the main entrance can be used.

Welcome to the Reception Lounge
Here, you can enjoy a refreshing drink or a hot coffee while taking in the views of Narvik city, Ofotfjorden, and parts of the skiing facility in Narvikfjellet.
Lounge opening hours - serving coffee/tea, chocolate, and snacks:
Every day from 06:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Reception Bar opening hours - serving alcoholic beverages and snacks:
Every day from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Final Cleaning
Final cleaning is always included in the price. This means that you don't need to do anything other than running the dishwasher before you leave.
What kitchen equipment is available in the apartments?
All rooms and apartments in Basecamp have a small kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle, and French press. In addition, you will find kitchen equipment such as pots, frying pan, necessary kitchen utensils, plates, cups, glasses, and cutlery.
The apartments do not have an oven or microwave.
smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment or in the hallways. Smoking indoors will result in a smoking fee of NOK 5,000.
Pets
Pets are not allowed inside the apartments or in the hallways.
Fire Alarm and Fire
If the fire alarm goes off, evacuate all residents of the apartment. The common meeting point for all guests in case of a fire is the turning area outside the main entrance of the hotel.
Medical Assistance
In case of urgent medical attention assistance, call 113. For less severe injuries or illnesses, contact Narvik Emergency Room (Sykehusveien 3) at 76 94 30 00 or 116 117. The emergency room is open from 3:30 PM on weekdays and 24/7 on weekends and holidays.
Do you offer late check-in and/or late check-out?
Early check-in from 12:00 can be arranged based on availability, subject to a fee of 200 NOK.
Late check-out, extending until 15:00, can be arranged based on availability, subject to a fee of 300 NOK.
Early check-in and late check-out must be confirmed and settled at the reception in advance.
Is it possible to do laundry at the hotel during the stay?
Unfortunately, we do not offer laundry services for private belongings during your stay
In the reception on the 1st floor, you will find a small shop offering various branded merchandise, including ski goggles, mugs, buffs, guidebooks, and freshly ground coffee from Senja Roasters. If you have forgotten toothpaste or other toiletries, these can also be purchased there. Feel free to ask us at the reception if you need anything for your stay!
Do you need luggage storage before check-in or after check-out?
As a guest at the hotel, you can conveniently store your luggage in the storage room located in the Ski House, right by the main entrance to the hotel.
You can obtain the code for the storage room at the reception, and please note that all luggage storage is at your own risk.
It is not allowed to leave luggage in the storage room overnight.
