Lift passes are personal and non-transferable.
In the event of loss of a seasonal pass or annual pass, a replacement may be issued for a fee of NOK 100, plus NOK 100 for a new Axess chip card.
In cases of misuse or violation of alpine skiing rules, the lift pass may be confiscated without compensation.
There is no right of withdrawal for lift passes pursuant to Section 22 (m) of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act, as lift passes are considered services related to leisure activities for a specific date or time period. Unless otherwise explicitly stated in these terms, no refunds will be granted after purchase.
No compensation or refunds will be provided due to alpine competitions/events resulting in closed lifts or slopes, provided that Narvikfjellet has informed about the event at least 14 days in advance. For annual and seasonal pass holders, information about major alpine events (lasting more than 3 days) affecting the number of available lifts and slopes during the validity period must be available prior to purchase. The guest is responsible for familiarizing themselves with opening hours and events before purchasing a personal lift pass.
An Axess card is mandatory for all lift passes due to the contactless ticketing system. If you already have an Axess card without technical issues, it can be reloaded and reused. If you do not have an Axess card, it can be purchased for NOK 100 in addition to the lift pass price. This does not apply to single rides on the gondola, where a paper ticket is used.
Children aged 0–6 receive a free lift pass when wearing a helmet and using an Axess card. All children under the age of 7 must carry an Axess card with a valid lift pass.
The guest is responsible for presenting any discount coupons, vouchers, gift cards, or student ID prior to purchasing a lift pass. No refunds will be granted afterward.
Groups of more than 10 people may receive a group discount on lift passes at Narvikfjellet with a single combined payment. Requests for group discounts should be sent to [email protected].
There is no right of withdrawal or deposit refund for Axess cards.
The guest is responsible for checking which lifts are operating and which slopes are open prior to purchasing a lift pass.
Purchased lift passes are non-refundable.
Changes to lift and slope availability may occur due to circumstances described in Section 6, including but not limited to weather conditions, technical issues, safety considerations, or other factors beyond our control. Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.
The guest is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the resort’s opening hours prior to purchasing a lift pass. Opening hours are available at all times on Narvikfjellet.no.
The guest is responsible for assessing weather and snow conditions in relation to their own skiing or snowboarding ability prior to purchasing a lift pass. No refunds will be granted afterward.

The equipment must be returned during the rental provider’s opening hours at the end of the rental period.
It is the renter’s responsibility to inspect and approve the equipment before use.
The renter acknowledges that alpine ski bindings are of a release type. This reduces the risk of injury but does not guarantee safety. Snowboards do not have release bindings.
When renting avalanche safety equipment, a deposit of NOK 300 is required upon collection. The deposit will be refunded when the equipment is returned in its original condition.
Payment for ski school lessons must be completed before the lesson begins, either online or at the counter. Refunds are only granted in the event of illness or injury and must be documented with a medical certificate.

Narvikfjellet reserves the right to cancel the activity if certain conditions are not met, such as minimum participant requirements. In such cases, the customer will be notified the day before the activity. If the customer does not accept a rescheduled time, a full refund will be issued.

06. Ski Safety
In cooperation with Norwegian Ski Resorts and Mountain Destinations:
We encourage all our guests to wear helmets, show consideration for other skiers and snowboarders, and follow the Alpine Responsibility Code. Skiing at our resort should be safe, and we all share responsibility for our own conduct.
Responsibility to avoid injury:
You must act in a way that does not cause harm to yourself or others.
Adjust your speed to conditions:
You must ski in control and adapt your speed and manner of skiing to your ability, terrain, snow conditions, and traffic in the area.
Right of way:
Skiers or snowboarders coming from behind (above) are responsible for avoiding collisions.
Overtaking/downhill skiing:
Straight downhill skiing is prohibited except during organized training. When overtaking another skier or snowboarder, you must allow sufficient space for both controlled and uncontrolled movements.
Starting, entering, or turning uphill into a slope:
When entering or turning uphill into a slope, you must ensure this can be done safely without danger to yourself or others. The same applies after stopping.
Do not stop or sit in narrow or blind areas.
On foot in the slope:
If you are on foot, you must only use the outer edges of the slope.
Ski brakes/leashes:
Ski brakes or safety leashes are mandatory. Ensure that bindings are properly adjusted.
Respect signage:
Follow all signs, markings, and instructions.
Assistance in case of accidents:
In the event of an accident, everyone has a duty to assist. Witnesses and those involved are required to provide their personal details. Alpine skiing involves inherent risks—always exercise caution. The use of alcohol or drugs is incompatible with skiing.
Violation of the Alpine Responsibility Code may result in expulsion from the resort and confiscation of the lift pass without refund.
07. Operational Interruptions
Refunds in the event of operational interruptions are granted only in the cases and to the extent set out below.
In the event of an operational interruption—defined as lift stoppages and/or when more than 50% of the total slope offering available at the time of purchase cannot be used—the pass holder is entitled to a proportional refund for the period during which the lift pass cannot be used. The interruption must last at least 30 minutes, and the total duration of interruptions must exceed one-third of the lift pass validity period. No refunds are granted for day passes, half-day passes, or hourly passes.
Operational interruptions beyond the operator’s control (force majeure):
In the case of operational interruptions beyond the control of the ski resort, the refund shall amount to 50% of the proportional refund to which the pass holder would otherwise be entitled under the preceding paragraph. This applies to interruptions caused by, for example, snow, weather, and wind conditions, avalanches, lightning strikes, flooding, fire, power outages, pandemics, strikes, etc., and which constitute circumstances that the resort could not reasonably have foreseen at the time of purchase. It is the responsibility of the resort to document that the interruption was caused by such circumstances and that it could not have avoided or overcome their consequences.
Based on the above provisions, it is clear that the pass holder is not entitled to a full refund of the purchase price, but only to a proportional refund for the period during which the lift pass cannot be used. The maximum refund that may be claimed due to lack of snow is 50% of the lift pass purchase price, provided that the resort is unable to open for the season. Conversely, if the resort is open for more than one-third of the season, the pass holder is not entitled to any refund.
In other words, refunds may only be claimed for closed days exceeding one-third of the total number of ski days in the season. The refund shall amount to 50% of the proportional value of the period during which the lift pass could not be used. This is calculated by dividing the value of the lift pass by the total number of days in the season. This “daily rate” determines the size of the refund.
By its nature, any potential refund claim cannot be calculated until after the end of the season. Until the season has concluded, the resort operator may therefore reject any refund claims. Any claims for refunds must be submitted to the resort operator after this point.
08. Cable Car Tickets
Cable Car tickets are non-refundable unless a valid medical certificate is provided documenting illness or another health condition that prevents the ticket from being used.
Changes to the ticket’s validity date may, upon written agreement with Narvikfjellet via email at [email protected], be made up to 48 hours before the original start date. Changes are subject to availability and Narvikfjellet’s applicable terms. Requests received after the deadline may be rejected.

The person making the booking must be at least 20 years of age.
Please review the confirmation sent to you by email to ensure that it matches your booking.
